Redesign of the Cornèrtrader website

Cornèrtrader is a division of Cornèr Bank, founded in Lugano. Since 2012, investors have had access to the global financial markets through trading platforms. Over the years, the range of investment and trading services has been expanded. It was time to create a new comprehensive overview of the financial products.

Project experience was a huge advantage

Mindnow's team was already well acquainted with what Cornèr is all about, after all, we had already implemented the redesign of Cornèrcard's website before. We relied on proven methods and proceeded similarly to the last redesign: extensive discussions with stakeholders and user research followed by wireframing from LoFi to HiFi in close consultation with the client. The tasks for our design team were coordinated by our product owner.

Overview of an extensive offer

Cornèrtrader offers three different trading platforms, which give access to many different financial products, such as stocks, Forex, or CFDs. The pricing structure of Cornèrtrader should be presented in a more transparent way, which was not an easy task due to the complexity of the offer. Moreover, Cornèrtrader offers extensive training materials in the form of documents, but also seminars, which should be emphasized even more.

Fresh design including UX copy

We completely dismantled the Cornèrtrader website and rebuilt it with a new, fresh design. For this, we worked mainly with Figma, a tool that facilitates collaboration across multiple sites with many feedback loops. This allowed us to move step by step towards a design, including UX copy, that meets the needs of the users.

In the end, we delivered to Cornèrtrader ready-designed UI wireframes with all states prepared for internal programming. We delivered the website texts in English (primary language) and German.

A website for (future) investors

The new Cornèrtrader website makes it easier for investors and investors in spe to find the right trading platform for them. They can easily learn more about the different financial products and their pricing structures. All texts are up to date and follow the principle "as short as possible, as long as necessary".
