Step 1: Understanding your business goals

When you first contact us, our sales team will make sure to understand your business needs and your goals. We'll ask you the right questions to identify the areas where we can best help you, and how we can do it. If your product idea isn’t feasible or if we are the wrong agency for this job, we’re honest about that with you too – so don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Step 2: Scoping workshop

We'll schedule an online scoping workshop with relevant experts of Mindnow and dive deeper into your business processes and goals. This workshop is designed to be very focused so we can provide value in a short amount of time. Together with you, we’ll identify your specific challenges for creating a detailed project plan tailored to your needs.

Step 3: Project plan

Next, we'll create a project framework that brings clarity about budget and timelines in line with your goals. This first conceptual discovery phase is indispensable because to plan a project well, we need a detailed scope. It helps us to focus strictly on value while balancing between the requirements of your business and the needs of the users and the market.

The result of the project plan is a clear direction, providing the foundation for all the work that will follow. This way we ensure that every aspect of the project has a clear purpose. The more effort in this initial discovery phase, the lower the risk of unnecessary features and wasted effort later in the project.

Modular packages for discovery

The project framework step is modular, meaning you only pay for what you need. We offer three different package variants:

1

Variant 1: Scoping Workshop

We use the findings from the scoping workshop (step 2) to create a budget and timeline and then head straight to the execution step.

2

Variant 2: User Research

We dig deeper into the needs and expectations of your users by conducting user research and doing user interviews.

3

Variant 3: Prototyping

For more complex projects, we recommend not only asking users what they need but also creating prototypes of a first design and testing it. Because what users say and what they do doesn’t always match.

For the best possible user experience, we recommend iterating on the designs before preparing the final design for development. This will make your product both user-friendly and business-effective – meaning your users are engaged by a seamless experience and your ROI increases.

Another advantage of a prototype is that you’ll have a clear understanding of the product’s look and feel before the first sprint starts.

Step 4: Execution and launch

Once we have defined the project plan, we'll start working on its execution. We have an agile approach to development, so we're constantly adapting to your feedback and making changes as needed. You’ll have a dedicated Product Owner who will be your go-to person during the whole product development process.

Designing a seamless user experience

Based on the project framework, we create designs that align with your business goals and the user's needs. This means designing flows and wireframes in two fidelities (LoFi and WiFi), creating a design system, and building prototypes as a good basis for fast and qualitative development.

Agile development with speed and quality

Now that everything is designed and we know exactly which direction to go, we initiate the development phase for the MVP. Following the Scrum methodology means we work in sprints, with each sprint creating a potentially shippable product increment. Furthermore, the Scrum method allows us to respond to changes very quickly. Our Product Owner will communicate with you about how to prioritize tasks in the backlog while always keeping user needs in mind.

With every sprint (which takes approximately 2–4 weeks) you’ll see the product come to life. By working in sprints, we guarantee the development of the product within the agreed time and budget. You don’t pay for the hours our development team spends but for the result of each sprint that you agreed on with your product owner.

After the launch of your project, we also offer maintenance and hosting services to ensure everything stays up and running smoothly.

A transparent process designed to help you succeed

At Mindnow, we believe in flexibility and trustful collaboration. Our sales structure is designed to help you succeed and our team of experts is dedicated to providing you with the best possible support throughout the whole project lifecycle.

Our process is very transparent, also in terms of pricing.

  • The conceptual research phase has a fixed price (according to the variant you choose).

  • The design phase is roughly estimated according to the characteristics of the project. The more conceptual research we do in advance, the more detailed the estimate and therefore the offer will be.

  • The agile development phase is based on your particular goals. The more sprints you request, the more sprints we charge. This flexible approach allows us to adapt to your changing needs as the project progresses.
