A completely rebuilt website prepares Desinfecta, a leader in ecological pest control, for the digital future. Thoughtful UX, a powerful headless CMS, and an optimized contact form make the site as efficient as the company's own work – with no room for bugs, online or off.
Desinfecta's old website made the company hard to find and didn't fully reflect its strength or professionalism, with key information not always accessible. The goal was to sharpen online visibility so customers facing a pest problem could quickly find the right partner, on a site that felt modern, user-friendly, and informative for private and business clients alike.

Stakeholder interviews, target-group and competitor analysis, and keyword research set the direction. Card sorting and tree testing revealed why users abandoned the old site and reshaped the information architecture so people find what they need faster.
UX findings drove a minimalist, trustworthy design for both private and business clients – technical imagery that signals expertise without feeling cold, anchored by the iconic Swiss typeface Univers.

Storyblok and Next.js power a flexible, scalable, trilingual site where caching keeps load times fast and content stays effortless to manage.
Comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis lifted Desinfecta's visibility in Google search results, building a stronger search-engine presence.
Users grouped content cards by their own logic, revealing the ideal menu and category structure and aligning navigation with real expectations.
Users navigated a design-free version of the site structure to confirm they could reach key information intuitively, without detours.

A headless build on Storyblok and Next.js delivers a fast, modular, trilingual site where caching keeps load times short. A smart contact form lets users upload photos of pests for rapid identification, and auto-generated breadcrumbs keep navigation clear throughout.
«The redesigned website gives the impression that the customer is directly interacting with one of our team members, a true added value for customer engagement.»
